After having the most wonderful season in Goa which included our first ever Yoga Immersion and 200 hour teacher training as Mandala Health, I have embarked on an adventure up to North India. I travelled with my teacher and friend, Elizabeth, as well as two of the students of the YTT course, Inger and Laura, to Rishikesh on the banks of the Ganga.

Elizabeth and I with our puja kit at Neelkanth Temple.

We have had a fill of our senses with all the beautiful sights and sounds of the evening aarti in Ram Jhula, the orange clad sadhus, the peacefulness of a swim in the Ganga and a memorable trip to the Neelkanth Temple which is dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.

With all that on the go I have also had the chance to check out a few possible venues for future yoga retreats, so watch this space and keep up to date through my newsletter and Facebook page!

More news and photo’s coming soon from a very inspiring visit I made to Ramana’s Garden and Childrens home that is based here in Rishikesh. Was a truly touching experience to feel the energy and dedication of the place, as well as to see all the beautiful smiling faces that met us.
