I have just spent an amazing week with my teacher and mentor, Elizabeth Pauncz, at her studio in Florence. Elizabeth was a student of Vanda Scaravelli for 15 years, and she has taken us on an inspirational journey into the teachings of Vanda. I am looking forward to assimilating this wonderful experience into my own teachings in the future.
Myself and Rupert of the Yoga Health Mandala are really happy to be teaching our 50 hour CPD (continuous professional development) ‘The Wave” course from the 18th September at Gravito Retreat Centre, Portugal. This teacher training module is for yoga teachers and movement practitioners looking to deepen their practice and own self enquiry plus expanding their knowledge to include the understanding and rehabilitation of specific injuries. It should be a fantastic experience.
We, the YHM, are also accepting applications for our Immersion course, a 200 hour Yoga teacher training that takes place every year in Goa. This course is such an inspiring and intense experience, it truly is a wonder to watch our students transform throughout the month and an honour to learn alongside them. We have recently confirmed the special guest teachers that will be joining us for The Immersion 2017, further can be found here. We have a wonderful YouTube video with tasters of The Immersion 2016 which you can see here.
I also have two Chavutti Thirumal training courses that I am taking applications for now. The next one starts in November where I will be teaching Chavutti in London at The Well Garden. The London course will be held over three weekends in November and December. Further details, venue information, course content and application forms can be found on my events page. The next course after London will take place in Goa, India during January 2017.
Keep up to date by joining my mailing list (top right hand side of this page) or keeping an eye on my Facebook.
I would be very happy to connect with you, so if you have any questions about my courses and trainings please contact me directly. With Love ~ Helen
” To follow the way the spine functions during this process of breathing is of the greatest interest. The wave of expansion while exhaling, originating from the spine, is the basis of our teaching”
